Cry of the Taniwha Prejudice Example
Reflection
I was learning to look at the characters from Cry of the Taniwha, identify their personalities and how they behave (in other words their charcteristics). This is called a prejudice mind map and I used this to help me to find the evidence of how the characters behaved. I enjoyed thinking of ways to descibe Skulla. My next step is to try this same prejudice map with a different story.

Comparing fractions
Reflection:
I was learning how to compare fractions. I found it easy to compare these two fractions and thought it needed to be a bit more challenging . My next step is to compare fractions with a different denominator.
Show Don't Tell
Reflection:
I was learning how to write about my feelings without saying it directly. It helped me to use the planning sheet .The one thing that I had trouble with was finding words to describe my feelings. It helped to look bake at the time and think of how I felt at the time. My next step is to come up with words without looking back and remembering.

My Special Place
Reflection:
WAL how to use our senses to add detail to our writing to make it interesting for our reader.
What helped me with my writing was talking about our ideas and making a conversation and looking at examples. My next step is to give a bit more detail in other pieces of writing I do. It made me feel good to exspress myself of how I feel about this place.
